{"id":5733,"date":"2015-10-10T20:09:09","date_gmt":"2015-10-10T13:09:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.kathmanduphotobkk.com\/?p=5733"},"modified":"2024-02-18T14:36:07","modified_gmt":"2024-02-18T07:36:07","slug":"click-the-coincidence","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kathmanduphotobkk.com\/?p=5733","title":{"rendered":"Click : The Coincidence\/Chatchai Boonyaprapatsara"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Click : The Coincidence<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A photographic exhibition by<\/p>\n<p><strong>Chatchai Boonyaprapatsara<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>3 March \u2013 29 April 2012<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The word <em>&#8220;Click&#8221;<\/em> is a simple word, but to <em>Chatchai Boonyaprapatsara<\/em>, it means the scene of City, Citizen, Culture, Context, Conflict, Colour and Concept meeting up in one <em>\u201cClick\u201d <\/em>coincidentally on the street.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>After receiving a Certificate in Photography from Bangkok Technical Campus,<\/p>\n<p>Chatchai continued his education in The US where he received his BFA in Graphic Designs from The Corcoran School of Arts, Washington, DC.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>He returned to Bangkok and pursued his career as a creative man in a number of well-known advertising agencies for more than 14 years.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Today, carrying on with his creativities to another path of the journey, he sets himself free on the streets, challenging himself and making commitment of a lifetime to becoming an ongoing street photographer.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The exhibition <em>\u201cClick :The Coincidence\u201d <\/em>is a collection of 5 years experiences of the unpredictable city\u2019s scenes (Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh City and Singapore). Where and when he finds a mystical communication link between the subjects, feels and sees the continuous dialog between his main subject and the culture and ambient of our modern society in the background, it is a worthwhile coincidence. He fires a quick snap street shot that makes a <em>\u201cClick\u201d<\/em> in his head: visually inspiring, conceptually food for thought and as many times simply entertaining.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Click :The
